Supply agreement and procedures related to it
- Based on the supply agreement, supplier ensures supply and customer undertakes commitment to pay service fee and preserve conditions defined by Georgian Legislation including by the retail market rules approved by Resolution N 13 dated on August 13, 2020 of Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission
- Supply agreement can be concluded in material or electronic form for no less than 3 months period in accordance with the rule established by Georgian Legislation
- Customer is authorized to conclude one supply agreement with the supplier on several metering knot
- Supply agreement shall include:
a) Identification data of the supplier including requisites, address and contact number of supplier (electronic mail and 24 hour call center number)
b) Identification data of the customer including customer number, contact information (electronic mail, tel number, factual address and supply address). In case of customer will – alternative contact person data.
c) Identification data of the person responsible for service fee payment – in case of existence
d) Date for commence of supply
e) Supply price or the tariff established by the commission in case if such exists
f) Periodicity, rule and means for service fee payment
g) Means for sending the notification and exchanging the information foreseen by the agreement
h) Conditions related to the imposing of the penalty – in case of parties’ agreement by observing the terms stated by these rules
i) Validity of agreement
j) Rule for prolongation of the validity of the agreement
k) Indication on those circumstances, in which existence right for requesting the deposit will be occurred for the supplier
l) Indication on those commitments of customer, non fulfillment of which ones may cause suspension of the supply
m) Indication on the circumstances excluding the responsibility (force majeur)
n) Indication on the right for termination of the agreement unilaterally and on the conditions for implementation of this right
o) Rule for returning the advanced paid amount by the customer
p) Indication on the rule for discussing the customer’s claim by the supplier
q) Indication on the rule for discussing the disputable issues
- Supplier is obliged to conclude supply agreements with residential customer and small enterprises in accordance with the standard conditions of supply agreement approved by the commission
- Supply agreement standard conditions shall include the following information:
a) Periodicity of service fee payment, rule and means
b) Means for sending the notification and information exchange foreseen by the agreement
c) Conditions related to the imposing of the penalty – in case of parties’ agreement by observing the terms/conditions established by these rules
d) Validity of agreement
e) Rule for prolongation of the validity of the agreement
f) Indication on those circumstances, in which existence, right for requesting the deposit will be occurred for the supplier
g) Indication on those commitments of customer non fulfillment of which ones may cause suspension of the supply

- Customer is considered as connected to the supply agreement upon submission of the fully filled in, signed copy to the supplier. Together with the signed supply agreement customer shall submit to the supplier:
a) Document confirming possession of real estate, consent of the owner of real estate or in case of residential customer – document that represents base for registration of ownership right
b) In case of existence of the person responsible for service fee payment – his/her consent
- Supply agreement is considered to be concluded upon connection to the supply agreement published on supplier webpage by the customer in line with the above-mentioned rule
- 9 In case if more than one consent of the ownership is presented to the supplier on one and the same real estate, supplier is obliged to conclude supply agreement with that customer who will submit newer consent of real estate owner to him/her. In accordance with this paragraph, concluding of the supply agreement represents the base for termination of the supply agreement conclude on that same real estate, when registration of the customer change in the customer number is carried out by the supplier.
